Brushstrokes, Community, & Fresh Starts
Since moving to Rochester, I’ve been quietly rebuilding my art practice—one painting, one neighborhood walk, one deep breath at a time.
It’s been equal parts exciting and overwhelming to start over in a new city, but something about this place feels like it’s meant for new beginnings.
Today, I’m sharing one of mine:
✨ I’ve officially launched a Ko-fi page where folks can support my art—through one-time tips or monthly memberships.
Why Ko-fi?
As a queer artist, a mom, and someone who’s chosen to leave full-time work to chase this dream for real… I wanted a way to keep painting from a place of joy and presence—not stress.
Ko-fi allows me to:
Share behind-the-scenes process shots, postcards, and updates
Offer early access to new prints or paintings
Build a tiny, loving community of folks who like soft art and slower stories
And most importantly—stay creatively independent
What Your Support Means
Every tip, membership, or kind message helps cover supplies, show costs, and the messy middle part of making art sustainably.
It’s support that helps me keep showing up to the page—even when it’s hard, even when I’ve got toddler paint on my pants, even when the light hits just right and I drop everything to paint it.
If you’ve ever paused at one of my paintings and felt something—calm, connection, curiosity—I’d be honored to have you in that space with me.
What’s Next
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be:
Sharing process peeks and sketchbook scribbles on Ko-fi
Getting ready for my first Rochester art show (!!!)
Painting from the road while we travel this summer
And building a body of work inspired by this new season of life
Thanks for being here. For supporting what’s small, soft, and handmade.
I’m so grateful I get to paint in this world—and maybe even for you.
